On the tenth day known as Tika, people are seen moving around with their foreheads covered with rice tika, wearing new clothes. There is much feasting as people visit relatives’ homes to receive tika and blessings.
During Dashain, men and women in their fineries visit their elders to seek tika (a dab of red vermilion mixed with yogurt and rice) accompanied by blessings. Sword precessions (Paayaa) are also held in various part of the Kathmandu Valley. A large number of animals are officially sacrificed at Hanuman Dhoka during Nawami which is attended by officials, invitees and visitors.
Goddess Durga, symbolizing valor and prowess, is worshipped and offered sacrifices to ensure the devotees' progress and prosperity. During the first ten days, pilgrims flock to various river confluences early in the morning and sacred shrines in the evening. Ghatasthapana, Phool Pati, Mahaastami, Nawami and Vijaya Dashami are the series of the events under Dashain each marked with a different set of rituals.
In this month, we provided clothes and masks to our godparents children. Because this is the time of great festival named Dashain off all Hindus. in this festival people used to wear new dresses, eat delicious food, play swing and so on. So that we provided clothes and mask.
This is the longest Hindu festival in Nepal, traditionally celebrated for two weeks with prayers and offerings to Durga, the Universal Mother Goddess. The great harvest festival of Nepal, Dashain is a time for family reunions, exchange of gifts and blessings, and elaborate pujas. Dashain honors the Goddess Durga, who was created out of the shakti or energy of all the gods, armed with weapons from each of them.

As we all know covid19 a pandemic is speard worldwide ,and day by day it is effecting the general life of people around the world. The rate of infection in people is increasing day by day in nepal. Due to lockdown various governmental organisations or office ,non-governmental organisations, businesses, factories, transportation facilites ,educational institutions, school, colleges are closed too. Because of lockdown, the whole nation and people have faced difficulty to live their general life and are still in risk of infection. Even in Gorkha, everything is closed and people are not allowed to move from one place to another so we are not able to provide materials to our children's. But as soon as the lockdown is lightly opened in Gorkha, we will provide the material to our children's.
On July 17th, 2020 we officially started Phase I of the development plan to improve the health care service in the Machhapuchhre Village Municipality Ward no.3 in Kaski, Nepal.
Phase I and Phase II emphasize the implementation of an integrated and high-quality maternal, newborn and child health service. Improving coverage and quality of immunization procedures, prevention of mother-child-transmission (PMTCT), antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period health services will be vital to reduce preventable maternal, newborn and infant deaths (according to the two global strategic plans, the ENAP and Strategies for Ending Preventable Maternal Mortality, EPMM).
Upcoming phases will stabilize and further improve the quality of all basic and necessary community health services. Phases III and IV focus on improving access to basic health services, including family planning, child health and safe motherhood, closer to rural households. We are going to contribute to providing educated manpower, such as female community health volunteers, basic health care services comprising the distribution of contraceptives, folic acid, Vitamin A and oral rehydration packets, as well as a community mental health program to combat common diseases like depression or epilepsy. On the grassroot level, the combination of Health Posts and Community Health Workers (CHW), e.g. female community health volunteers, is at the heart of PHC work in Nepal.
Nepal’s Himalayan terrain has always provided challenges for infrastructural improvements in health service delivery. The delivery of PHC in Nepal is still based on networks on district level as well as on below district level health care facilities such as Sub-Health Posts. Only about 20 % of the Health Care facilities provide basic emergency obstetric care and around 55% provide basic delivery and newborn services.

Unser neuer Namaste Kids Help Shop
Hier finden Sie unseren neuen HelpShop
